Subject: hallo.exe too large, Help!

Hi,
Yes, I have just dowloaded djgpp, and am a beginner. Under the process I've
got some virus messages! Should this happen?

Anyway I tried the standard hello.cc and was compiled OK. However, I
believe the linker found a "permission denied (EACCES)". My virus detector
did not like the hallo.exe either. I've got hallo.exe into a DOS window and
it gave the "program too big to fit in memory" message. While trying
hallo.exe at the desktop it reports that the program "is not a valid Win32
application" which is normal since, if I am right, I will need special
developments tools for Windows.

I found an answer to the problem but it seems to be UNIX oriented. All I
want as a beginner is a fault free RHIDE environment to learn C++ in a
Windows 95 platform.

I believe I should be able to put hallo.exe in a DOS window and when I
write hallo, "hallo!" shall be echoed in the DOS windows...

TIA Carlos
