What my system has now is c:\djgpp\man\man1\   [No I know this is wrong]
In the man1 directory is

 Volume in drive C is RGP486DX2  
 Directory of C:\DJGPP\MAN\MAN1

Because when I put them in a directory I KNOW is in the path (info) man
will not call them up.
That has been my proof test for all info and man files I am wondering about.
