I also had to do this manually when rebuild binutils after getting patch 
to GAS from Andrew Crabtree (to avoid output of unneeded info about
local labels in object files). Rather annoying, but let's hope it will be
no more so in next version. At least I suceeded to got working AS.EXE
that fixed problem with temporary labels.
