This will certainly solve the problem with backslashes in command-line
arguments, but I suspect GDB also has these problems when you use
backslashes in file names typed from its prompt.  This should also be
corrected in the DJGPP port.

It does, but it needs to mimic the shell behavior for file names typed
inside GDB.
