The DPMI server might be actually unrelated to this, since issuing
INT 2Fh directly might not be handled by the DPMI.  At least that's how 
things work on Windows 9X: direct INT 2Fh instructions bypass the DPMI 
host and go directly to the DOS extender part of Windows.
