If your version 2.2 works correctly, you only have to run make inside
the dir of the version 3.0. However, I would recommend you to first
delete the previous version to avoid problems. They shouldn't happen
anyway, but who knows...

Just read the ChangeLog file to see the new things, and consider if
this version suits your needs better.
