You should get lgp2811b.zip instead of lgpp280b.zip.  The newer library
is designed for compatibility with gcc 2.8.1, while the older one is
almost guaranteed to cause problems at some point.

The instructions contained in 'readme.1st' are designed for persons with
a basic knowledge of DOS commands.  Nothing else is really required.  If
you have specific problems with certain steps in the instructions,
please tell us what those are.  It's nearly impossible to figure out
your problem without detailed information.
