OK. Wow -- I can get 1024x768 x 16 million colors. I've set:
set GRX20DRV=vesa gw 640 gh 480 nc 256
but I still get 1024x768 and 16million colors. I'm using GR_custom_graphics
mode. Actually, I'd like to cut it down about 800x600 and about say 16bpp
giving 32k or 64k colors.
Little bit too hi-res for my 15" monitor.
Maybe I have to set GRX20DRV and mention bpp, and use GR_custom_bpp_graphics
instead?
Also, with 640x480x256 the pictures look real splotchy. Maybe it's in palette
mode?
