I think you forgot to link with the allegro library.
In the Allegro documents, you find information on
how to do this (don't know where).

Just link with the library liballeg.a.
(right now, can't remember compiler switch)

Or, in RHIDE, you can do it by typing alleg in one
of the library fields in Options->Libraries.
