I try the mythic hello world : #include <iostream.h> int main(int argc,char **argv) { cout<<"hello world !"; retutn 0; } with version 2.8 of gcc it doesn't work with gcc -o hello.exe hello.cc undefined reference to cout undefined reference to operator<< i must specify to link with stdcxx lib : gcc -o hello.exe hello.cc -lstdcxx works well Is there a way to specify to automatically include stdcxx when linking c++ ??? thanx for advance vicking
