Subject: minor problem with c++

I try the mythic hello world :

#include <iostream.h>

int main(int argc,char **argv)
{
  cout<<"hello world !";

  retutn 0;
}

with version 2.8 of gcc

it doesn't work with gcc -o hello.exe hello.cc
undefined reference to cout
undefined reference to operator<<

i must specify to link with stdcxx lib :
gcc -o hello.exe hello.cc -lstdcxx works well

Is there a way to specify to automatically include stdcxx when linking
c++ ???

thanx for advance
vicking
