Apparently there was no GPP.EXE; it was *GXX.EXE* in my installation,
and it's about 1K larger than GCC.EXE. My g++.exe was only about 8K or
so, which I thought odd. When I run it, it apparently just calls
GXX.EXE.

Anyway, I have everything working properly now... so thanks very much
all of you who helped me out!
