It also describes a completely different library, so some of the 
particulars might be wrong, and some of the functions documented there 
might not even exist in DJGPP (and vice versa).

Linux uses the GNU libc, whereas the DJGPP libc was written from scratch, 
mostly by DJ Delorie.
