Tested with 2.8.1. It generates internal error.

I think any situation when compiler generates such message should be
considered as bug and should be fixed even if code is wrong as compiler
must say that there is some error in some line rather than throwing some
message that compiler it is confused. This is essencially significant in big 
source files. However I'm afraid that ability to write errorous code will always be 
much bigger than developers power to fix such problems
