Hello everybody,

Here's a question: I have read some of the fine faq about DJGPP, where
it seems to say that the DJGPP compiler can't run in a computer
operating in real mode (an 80286 for example). Is this true? If this
is true can DJGPP however create programs that can be run (even though
they should be compiled on a 386 or better) on a 286 computer?

Is there any other "lighter" C DOS compiler with a usage license like
the one of DJGPP? This compiler would be better for small programs.

Thanks in advance,
Panos Hilaris
