Hello,
I'm trying to find a way to generate random numbers within a given
range. I want to generate a series of random points to draw on the
screen, and so in my case I need to generate random numbers from 0...640
and 0...480. The way I understand it, the rand() function returns an
integer between 0 and the largest integer available on the system.
Clearly most of these numbers will be too big for my purposes. Any
suggestions? Is there a function for this already, or will I have to
write my own?
Thanks in advance,
Jason Cain
