I have an OLD copy of JAM, in source code, dating from 1993. The
README file in that package identifies the author as:

	Christopher Seiwald
	Seiwald AT vix DOT com

That's pretty old so he may no longer be reachable there. Sorry, that's
all I can find in the package.
