No, nothing like enough. Sixteen meg is a bare minimum for any serious
compilations, but the more the better.

You need to edit the DPMI properties for your DOS box to make more
virtual memory available (you will have to type 65535 into the field by
hand, because win95 only goes up to 16384 in the pulldown list). See the
djgpp FAQ for more information about how best to configure your machine
for use with djgpp.
