Subject:	allegro specific: EXEDAT.EXE question.

i compile my program its 200k

then i add a 400k DAT file on the end of it using the EXEDAT util.

i expect the result to be 200k+400k = 600k.

but its 1 meg... seems like 200k + ( 2 X 400k ).

why?   is this normal ?
when i djp (compress) it i get 200k compressed to 150k plus the ( 2 X 400k ).

but when i PKZIP it the file seems to just about 1/2 in size.
the data in the DAT is FLIC .. which is compressed anyway...
