Get the file v2/readme.1st.  This file explains the basics of how to
download, install, and use DJGPP.  For more detailed information, see
the DJGPP User's Guide at http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/doc/ug/.  The
DJGPP Frequently Asked Questions list is an invaluable resource; it can
be downloaded from SimTel as v2/faq210b.zip or read online at
http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/v2faq/.

I recommend that you read at least the first 5 chapters of the FAQ
before attempting to use DJGPP, and skim chapters 6-12 at your earliest
opportunity.  You should eventually read the entire FAQ through at least
once.
