Even when I'm not sure what you get, because e-mail isn't good for graphic 
chars, my guess is that you are using Winblows text editor and running the 
program in DOS. As in USA Winblows uses ISO Latin-1 and DOS the ANSI CP437 the 
characters over 127 are totally different. Just edit the source with a DOS 
editor.
I'll suggest you to use my editor (v2apps/edi*.zip), you'll be able to see the 
text in both encodings (ISO and ANSI) without exiting the editor or changing 
your code. In this way you'll understand better what's going on.
