Perhaps was me.

Why not? you just need to disable the mouse before the breakpoint. Just disable 
the mouse in the part where you want to put breakpoints.

It won't help at all. You can call functions from the evaluate dialog but:

1) Is currently broken.
2) I don't know if it will help.

Disable the cache while debugging these things!! you can do it from DOS without 
rebooting.
