Maybe it's so. I found that keyboard support in 1.4.3 is worse than in 1.4.
But we must take into account that 1.4.3 is BETA version so something may
also be broken.
I myself am using patched version of 1.4.1 (initially available for Linux)
due to following reasons:
- keyboard support was significantly changed in 1.4.3 and was still unfininished
(as I underastand) in DJGPP version and was broken in Linux version (once more
1.4.3 is BETA version)
- I cannot use project files from 1.4.3 in 1.4.1, but I want to share them
sometimes between DJGPP and Linux
Due to these reason I stopped experiments with 1.4.3 and I'm still using modified
1.4.1. I can only say that problem You mentioned is not present in 1.4.1 and
I think also in 1.4.
When the bugs in 1.4.3 will be fixed. I don't know. Perhaps when Robert will have
time to fix it. As I understand he doesn't have much time now. Take into account
that he is doing this in his free time. You can also try to help him is You really
want this.

PS. About Your antispammed address. I'm afraid that using partially scrambled
address is totally useless as for example in this my message Your real address
is exposed to all world in To: field without any protection about spam. I suggest
to remove NOSPAM from Your address as I think this already is useless.
