Simple enough.  GNU Less works very well.  
Just use 
	redir -eo gcc (whatever) | less
Or if you dont feel like downloading less (which you should) just use:
	redir -eo gcc (whatever) | more

Of course, DOS more is not quite as friendly...  Or you could even redirect
it to a file and read it in your text editor.  I reccomend the following
invocation personally but you will need the GNU shell utils for it:
	redir -eo gcc (whatever) | tee output.fil | less

Then you can just read output.fil at your leasure, and read the scrollback
right away to get a quick look!
