I think you can just write an empty main function and do a link
such as-
gcc -o main.exe *.o
just to test, before you put them in a library
my impression is that functions linked thru object files
have to be totaly resoved, as opposed to libraries where just
the particular module referenced has to be resolved.
Of course I stand to be corrected.
