I have the same problem I think. The solution I chose was to ALT-ENTER
before exiting rhide. Setting back to a windowed environment seemed to
help. Mostly though I just shut-down into DOS for rhide sessions. It seems
quite stable and works in 80x50 screen mode so it's quite a fine text-based
environment that way.
