Hi!
I changed the Allegro example nr. 25 (the cool green/yellow tiled
floor) to a floor using two marble textures...
I didn't find a straight way to mix the two 256 colors palettes using
an Allegro function...Is there something that I didn't find in the
docs?

Thanks!
the same base address, so they can be treated equally as far as any
memory accesses are concerned.

I'm not sure if gcc ever produces code that assumes code and data live
in the same address space, but this is certainly true for djgpp (large
chunks of the startup code and interrupt handling mechanism would break
if it was not).
