Try disabling the Allegro mouse.

If your binary project is broken (for example if you hang the computer before
the cache is flushed) it could happend.

? I use back-up copies of the gpr/gdt files to avoid the avobe mentioned
problem it works OK. Are you sure that you are replacing BOTH files (project
and desktop file).
