Old, reliable DOSKEY is a great command line editor; it comes with
MS-DOS 6.x and higher (as I recall).  In Win95, it can be found in the
Windows\Command directory.  Run it in your autoexec.bat to get easy
command line editing in plain DOS or in a DOS shell.
