Where exactly did you get these files? I just checked using the
alleg30.zip from ftp.simtel.net, the current (March 25) wipdiff.zip from
my website, and diff.exe from GNU diffutils 2.7.1, and that exact
command worked fine...

Anybody else had problems like this? I don't know what to suggest...

Re. your idea that you may have got a version with the diff already
applied, I don't think that is possible: I certainly haven't distributed
such a thing.

Try running make now: there is always a chance that it will work :-)
