Hello again wonderful djgpp people,

I still want to know more about the djgpp internals.
Especially about the startup code, and especially
about the part the has to do with the protected mode
specifics of that part. I have a working knowledge of
pmode, but am not a total pmode hack, so what would
probably help me the most is someone who can give
me:
1) A quick rundown of what the startupcode for a djgpp
program accomplishes(only for the part that concerns
pmode). I suspect it is quite something, considering
   the overhead....
2)If there is somewhere detailed information then I would
like to know that too, so that I can study my way in
myself after understanding the overview from 1.

I would really like it if someone gives me a hand here.
The reason is that after all I am starting to write
a free qbasic compiler written IN qbasic too, partly
because I get sick about all questions for something
like that, partly because I don't like existing basic
compilers, partly because I still like basic as a starting
tool..It would be the nicest thing to make it a protected
mode compiler a' la djgpp(but mind you its only basic),
but I need a hand for that pmode part.

Also if there are people who are really willing to help for
this part(and certainly if they are Dutch, since that gives
the relieve of talking native to each other..), then I would
appreciate a message..

Sorry to take so much space, but I wanted to make
also my motives and questions clear,

Thanks in advance,

Rick
