I hope this isn't true.  I haven't downloaded the binary package myself yet
so I can't verify.
libgcc.a should be distributed with the compiler itself.  gcc2721.zip does
have a libgcc.a in it, and all
pgcc releases have had libgcc.a in it.  Djdev just contains libc, libm, ....
If gcc28.zip really is missing libgcc.a then it needs to be fixed.
