There is an announcement of S.W.O.R.D. 2.50 beta release build 980.316

You can download it from http://www.bspu.unibel.by/sword/download.htm
If you have previous build 980.105 please download new one, because
directory structure, makefiles and datafiles are changed.

This build contains all changes since version 2.10 all-in-one package.
Build 980.316 Features:
 - New makefiles (generic templates are from 3.0beta03);
 - Profile support: now SWORD configuration saved in usual text ini-file
   similar to Windows 95 windows.ini;
 - MultiCCompiler as wrapping over compilers to allow much more
   portability between different platforms (patched version from
   3.0beta03);
 - Improved stability under Windows 95 and especially Windows NT
   (under latter it never crashes on the test machines!).
Corrections:
 - TColorContainer bug caused crash under HiColor modes was fixed now;
 - Edit Lines bugs completely fixed;
 - Fixed bug in TDisk which periodicaly drops lines written in textual
   files;

This release announced with the hope that people who used 2.10 version
will use it now and will come to the future 3.0 version with
different library scheme. It also published i order to fill holes in
current SWORD 3.0 version and give flexible mechanism to create GUI
applications.

Please read readme.1st and readme.316 immediately after unpacking
