i get some error like this too... if i load emacs (which worked the
first or so times i used it) it starts to initialize but no window
starts and it just returns to dos prompt... i tried to run it in nt
and it said some errors occured with variables while downloading

what can be wrong?? i am using emacs in class so i want it on my
computer, maybe i should look at rhide
