This is a short message to announce the full release of Phoenix 2.0.
Documentation is available now, too.
The only thing currently lacking from the docs is the functions list.
Descriptions of how to do almost everything are all there. The tool for
applying textures to an object is currently unstable, and as soon as I find
the bug, It'll will be uploaded. I am aware of the bugs in the old
modeller, the new one is now virtually bug free. The only feature currently
lacking from the engine itself is a UVN rotation system. The rest of the
things on my features list will probably be implemented in 2.1 :). Full
docs will certainly come out before then.

***IF YOU HAD NO IDEA WHAT PHOENIX IS***
Phoenix is a 3D graphics engine for DJGPP. I has tools to build objects,
and will soon have tools to place textures on those objects. The engine
also will load and draw these objects on the screen. You can place objs in
the world, then define the viewers position in the world. Phoenix draws
onto Allegro BITMAPS, so you can continue to use your favorite all-purpose
engine. People say that Phoenix is easy to use, and I'm always willing to
answer questions completely. Even if your question is just "where do I put
#include <phoenix.h>", I'll answer and help you get started on more advanced
issues. Now that there is documentation, Phoenix should be even easier to
use. For more information and to download Phoenix 2.0, go to my page:
