Here, let's say nextthink is a pointer to a function
class Man {
    //...
       void (*nextthink)();
};

You have to declare (and further define)
class Man {
    //...
    void run();
    void attack();
};

Then you can write :
    nextthink = run;
    nextthink = attack;
