I suppose Keith Bostic's 'nvi' is arguably "the" real vi, nowadays; and the
source is available -- I know there's an OS2 rendition, and have sometimes
wondered if a DOS port could be done --

Does anyone happen to know if a DOS nvi is being worked on anywhere? I don't
know enough to be sure whether such a thing is a) a full-blown impossibility,
or b) just very difficult... I'd imagine djgpp would be perfect for the task,
if it's doable -- I'd be quite interested if anyone has any ideas or
information about this --

cheers,

TM
