DPMI 0.9 spec explicitly forbids mixing 16-bit and 32-bit clients in the same session. Windows 95 DOS box also crashes in these cases. It's probably much easier to rebuild `redir' with a compiler which produces real-mode code than to wait for this conflict to be resolved.
