INT 0?? Unless something has changed drastically, that's the divide-by-zero
interrupt. I presume you mean INT 8 or INT 0Ch (the handler for the one
calls the other).

Since the original poster is using Allegro, he should use its timer
functions rather than messing about with interrupt hooking.
