Why does a DJGPP program seem to stop running when the MSDOS window it's in
is out of focus? I tried using a TCP/IP library. It had two demo programs --
one a server, the other a client. I ran the server first, and it waited for
a packet to arrive. Then I opened another MSDOS window and ran the client
which sends a message to the server. As I ran the client ... the server did
not do anything until I brought the server's window on focus by clicking on
it.

Do DJGPP programs stop running when their MSDOS window is not currently in
focus?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
