Probably I could help you, but please try to understand the following:

1. I'm also working on the gcc 2.8.0 port (and libg++) and since it
   is really not easy, it is at least for me much harder to explain
   all the details (and sending diffs here is not the right way,
   since they are probably not finally)

2. Since you don't tell us the real problems, we cannot help
   you in detail.

3. If you can wait some time, you will benefit from the "official"
   gcc port.
