The `-c' switch to `diff' is usually encouraged, since it creates a `context
diff'. This will let the diff work even if the file it is applied to differs
somewhat from your original. Also, since the library docs are written in
Texinfo, so should any additions. Looking at other docs sources is a big
help here. In this case, `srand' should be written inside an `@code{   }'
directive, and I believe by convention parenthesis are not used when
mentioning functions by name.
