This is a known problem in the current alpha of v2.02. Please note
that alpha releases are NOT intended to be used in your day-to-day
work; it is for people who want to debug the next release. Debugging
means deliberately making the code crash to find the reason. Please
do NOT jump on the alphas and start using it, or you *will* get burnt.
And certainly do NOT overwrite your v2.01 installation with v2.02
alphas; I think even the pre-testers don't do that (I certainly
don't).

In fact, I don't even recommend using beta releases for production,
and IMHO v2.02 has still a long way to get into beta.

If you need to have a better library, just get the patched libc from
Tom Demmer's site. It has every known bug in stock v2.01 corrected,
but without the new exciting bugs of v2.02.
