Aha, a survey. Okay, here's my biased and perhaps illogical opinion. No
flames, please.

I prefer Emacs. Although it is lacking some features which RHIDE provides
(notably projects and debugging), I like having an extremely smart editor
which can do things like indent C code in 2^N ways. Also, I use Unix a fair
amount and only wanted to have to learn one editor. Furthermore, Emacs is
useful for writing things other than C code, and that further reduces my
learning curve.

Don't know, I don't use it, but all the bug reports I've seen since 1.4 was
released seemed to be very minor things.
