You didn't read the FAQ, that's what wrong.  OpenDOS has a buggy DPMI 
server, and you should switch it off.  Please download the DJGPP FAQ list 
(v2/faq210b.zip from the same place you get DJGPP) and read section 6.2 
there, for further details.
