I am about to tear my hair out. I can not find anything about writing a
mouse driver on the Internet. I type "ST-506", IDE standard, etc. I get
loads of information from Alta Vista, I can't find anything on mouse
drivers though! I remember FreeDos had a link, but the site is terribly
maintained and the link page does not work.

I don't want the response "just use INT 33h", that is pretty hard to do
when you're writing your own 32-bit OS, the whole idea is to make prot mode
drivers!! So if you have web sites on how the mouse hardware works so I can
make a driver, please e-mail or post.

Thank you for your time,

John Luebs

BTW, I'm sorry for posting off topic, but comp.sys.ibm.hardware is filled
with morons: "How do I overclock my Pentium 60 to 300Mhz?" I am writing the
OS with DJGPP, and people here are knowledgable.
