W95 is very inferior to DOS+CWSDPMI in that.

Depending on how much debug info you include RHIDE can be even greater than 
5Mb. My editor is over 4Mb!

A fault inside the code that reports the error. Did you tried redirecting the 
stderr? (Dissable any cache system before!)

Because Win95 doesn't check NULL pointers and other things.

Of course RHIDE works under DOS is just that the EXE you created have some 
problem.

Can you try to debug RHIDE (yes use RHIDE to debug RHIDE) is hard but you can 
narrow the problem with that. Be carefull because if the system hangs and the 
cache is dirty you'll need to run scandisk.
