Subject: How to set refresh rate ?

Hi,
I have a broblem with old VLB Video card Chips&Technologis Wingine 64xxx
and
some old SVGA monitor. Monitor dowsn't support some video modes, i.e.
640x480x256
becouse video card use high refresh rate, suppose it's 70Hz of higher.
It runs perfect on
640x480x16M becouse video card slow-down refresh rate to 60Hz in this
mode. So,
my question is how can I setup my video card to not switch to 70Hz. I
know what
some manufacturers distribute special utilities to do this task, but
can't find such a tool
for my card.
Thank you for attention.
