I found the djgpp emulation too ``basic'' for my needs. I need high-speed
(~38kb) access to a COM-port. djgpp's termio supports only the console
and doesn't make use of the __FSEXT'ensions.

(I probably could use Fossil + CTTY redirection instead?).
