Late-breaking news: the committee has introduced a "new" statement,
borrowed from COBOL via INTERCAL:

	alter <label> to come from <label>;

Under serious consideration is the computed altered come-from,

	alter <label> to come from <expression>;

		where "expression" should evaluate to the "value" of a numeric
                label within the same function --- if it doesn't,
		the effect is classified as "implementation-dependent".
