Exactly... for Allegro :)
The simple answer is - 'for making some programs easy to write'
Suppose, you may get an answer from lib itself. It comes with two
examples. First of them is just a text mode program which shows
how to write a simple 'Hello world !' using Palantir. Second example
is changed ex22 from Allegro examples set (rotating cubes) It shows more
interesting things you may do using Palantir.
